Junior BIM Coordinator

An exciting opportunity is now available to join one of Europe's largest construction companies in building the new subway in Stockholm! Itinera is looking for a Junior BIM Coordinator to contribute to the construction of the Arenastaden – Södra Hagalund station.

You will be based at the site office in Solna, working closely with and reporting to our planner and BIM manager, Simone Crippa. Simone has been with Itinera in Sweden since 2019, starting with the Skurubron project. With extensive experience in BIM, he has developed strong expertise in the field.

Main responsibilities as Junior BIM Coordinator

• Support the BIM team and the Planning Department in implementing BIM standards and workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure the accuracy of models.
• Conduct clash detection and report coordination issues using BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
• Maintain and update BIM models in accordance with project requirements.
• Assist in generating reports, schedules, and quantity take-offs from BIM models.
• Provide technical support for BIM-related inquiries.
• Participate in BIM meetings and coordinate with project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic proficiency in Tekla, Navisworks, and other BIM software.
• Knowledge of BIM processes and industry standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
